The M113 apc is a basic apc design from the 1950's. It takes its shape
from the standard apc in a box design, that was used alot in the designs of the 50's.
Description and use
The M113A1 is an armoured, airportable, amphibious, radio equipped, tracked vehicle
designed to provide ground forces, particularly the infantry, with increased mobility and
protection not found when operating on foot.
